Is there anything to pay if I don't get an award?

Absolutely not! Only the entrants that are subsequently selected as winners of their category will pay an acceptance fee. Finalists (runners up) awards are offered free of charge. Trophies for finalists are available to purchase by contacting one of the team.

How many awards and award categories can I apply for?

There is no official limit to the amount of award sectors or categories you can enter. Consider entering multiple categories to boost your chances of winning, but please only select categories you would be happy to accept.

How do you ensure that all entries are judged fairly?

We do not run awards in sectors in which we may have a commercial interest, in order to remove any bias on our part.

Our judging panel, both private and public is composed of both internal staff members and experts within a given industry. All judges must declare any possible conflicts of interest during the sign up / vetting process.

We utilise a robust scoring process, carefully designed to ensure all entries are judged fairly and consistently across every sector, and constantly review our practices to strengthen the process.

There are no associated fees with joining the panel. Our guest judges are frequently rotated to avoid burnout, to fit in with their existing commitments and to remove conflict of interest in some cases.

We do not publish our list of judges for specific awards’ before or after the awards have been judged. This enables us to protect their confidentiality and right to anonymity and further reduces any conflicts of interest.

What are the entries judged on?

We assess entries on a number of areas but the key criteria is how different you are from others in your sector. We also check if an example/review/testimonial/case study is provided, along with the quality and validity of any supporting evidence.

Try to be as succinct as possible whilst still providing enough detail about what you do. Where possible, if you have entered into multiple categories, try to split your entry into subheadings to allow for category specific answers.

What happens if I win an award?

If you win an award, we’ll send you notification via email ahead of the official announcement.

You will receive a link to the Award Acceptance Form where you can accept or decline your awards and select any additional trophies if required.

We will only announce you as a winner once you have officially accepted the award and agreed to be invoiced for your Acceptance Fee.

How do I pay?

We will send you a 14-day invoice for your Award Acceptance Fee. The invoice will include our bank details for bank transfer along with options to pay with any major credit / debit cards using PayPal or Stripe checkouts. We also have PayPal Pay in 3 available on the website. Please contact us for instructions for this.

Do you offer discounts?

No, we do not offer discounts on Award Acceptance Fees. To ensure our awards remain fair to all entrants, we adhere to a strict policy regarding discounts. Any sector specific or sponsor-related offers will be communicated to you privately.

What's the schedule?

The deadline for application submissions is available on the website. When this deadline is reached, no additional applications can be accepted.

In most cases, awards are announced within 30 days of the final deadline.

New awards sectors are regularly added to the site, as and when they become open for entry. The deadlines and scheduling may be different each year depending on the award. Please visit the relevant award page or shortlist page for further information, or reach out to us via email.

Trophies: We ship all trophies free of charge, within 2 – 4 weeks of cleared payment. We are unable to ship any trophies until full payment of the invoice has been received. This is to prevent fraudulent use of the trophy and award. In the unlikely event there is an error on your trophy, this will be responded to within 24hrs of receipt of complaint, and trophies will be remade/resent (at our cost) if required. We are not responsible for any errors made due to the information you provide, so please check shipping address and information clearly before submitting. Please note: remanufacture and redelivery can take up to two weeks, depending upon your location.

Am I guaranteed to get an award?

You’ll only get an award if you are selected as a winner by our impartial panel (after all entries have been assessed and compared against our scoring system).

In the unlikely case that you’re the only entry in a particular award category, we won’t automatically give you the award – we’d invite additional entries instead.

We will never accept any money or offer of payment upfront before you are offered the award.

Do you charge VAT

We are a VAT registered company, so if you are located in a country which requires us to charge you VAT, this will be clearly displayed on your invoice.

Are business awards tax deductible?

We’ve consulted some of the leading accountants across the world, and the general consensus is YES – you can claim business awards as a deductible marketing expense! Please always check with your own accountant for in-depth information for your specific location.
